DONE DEAL! Hamilton sign Maguire

Hamilton have signed Barry Maguire fro Motherwell.

The midfielder makes the move across Lanarkshire after his contract with the Steelmen came to an end and becomes John Rankin's second summer signing.

It’s great to get Barry in, he’s a really talented player with a great attitude," said Rankin. "You can tell he loves to play and gives you 100% on the park.

I’m looking forward to seeing him in with the squad, I think he adds to the already strong competition we have in the middle of the park, but also defensively where he can be versatile and slip into the back line comfortably.

Hibs ain't that flush

Ian Murray has warned that Hibs are facing a massive rebuild and that the Easter Road club "don't have a much money as people think."

New boss David Gray has already lost goalkeeper David Marshall to retirement, and there is interest in forwards Elie Youan and Marton Boyle.

Former Hibees skipper Murray knows Gray has a big job on his hands this summer, and won;t have piles of cash despite investment from Bill Foley's Black Knights group.

He's been there, he's worked under three or four different managers now and earned those stripes," Murray told Fife Today.

Hibs obviously need a massive rebuild job, they really do.

It's not black and white and they don't have as much money as people think.

So David's got a really hard job on his hands. I wish him all the best in doing that, getting them back into that top half of the table and doing well.

Tottenham terminate Ndombele deal

Son speaks out on Spurs future

Son Heung-min has opened up on speculation over his Tottenham future.

The forward has one year left on his curretn deal as Ange Postecoglou gets ready for another summer window of activity - but the South Korea star has shot down suggestions that he could exit this summer.

I have not had any exchanges with the club. I don't have anything to say at this point. I feel a little uncomfortable with the situation. I am going to keep doing my best for Tottenham. I still have terms left on my contract. Money is not important to me. The most important thing is to play in a league that I enjoy playing in. I have so much more I want to accomplish in the Premier League.

Northern Irish interest in McClelland

Glentoran and Coleraine are both interested in Hibs defender Kyle McClelland.

The 22-year-old is going into the final year of his Easter Road contract.

The former Rangers youngster was named as the Doonhamers' player of the year last season.

Rangers told to cash in on Tavernier and Goldson

Rangers should cash in on James Tavernier and Connor Goldson to fund a new deal for Jack Butland.

That is the view of Peter Grant - with the Celtic hero declaring that the goalkeeper is more important to the club that the skipper and centre-back stalwart. He told Go Radio:

I asked you the question what would Rangers fans think? Would you rather keep Butland or get money for the two boys and keep Butland?

Me personally, I would because I think a goalkeeper is vital for you and if I could give Jack Butland a few extra shillings to extend his contract I would definitely do that because I definitely think the manager looks at them and thinks I need something different.

I need defenders that are going to defend well and try to keep that level. For all the things he’s done going forward James Tavernier, you’ve still got to say there’s question marks about his defending.

I also think the same with Goldson so I think it’s definitely something Philippe Clement’s looked at and thought I need to improve that.

The Romania international is preparing for Euro 2024 - but looks set to return to Rangers following the tournament in Germany after an ill-fated loan spell with Alaves last season.

But speaking to Fanatik, Becali reckons a move to Turkey could be on the cards.

Currently we do not know anything concrete regarding the transfer of Ianis Hagi to Fenerbahce. You know very well what our relationship is with Jose Mourinho. At the moment there is nothing. But that does not mean that Ianis Hagi could not reach Fenerbahce

Mourinho has always liked Ianis Hagi. Always saw him as a high quality player. There are elections now at Fenerbahce. After things calm down, Mourinho also gets down to business and makes the transfer list.

We can’t confirm now that Ianis will end up at Fenerbahce, but anything can happen in the near future.

Rangers and Celtic will both make offers for Scotland Euro 2024 star Tommy Conway - if he runs down the final 12 months of his Bristol City contract.

The 21-year-old, who is currently with Steve Clarke’s national team preparing for Friday’s opener against Germany, is going into the final year at Ashton Gate and talks over an extension have failed to come to fruition. Rangers and Celtic can sign Conway on a pre-contract in the new year and the English Championship would lose him for cross-border compensation for as little as £300,000. Both Glasgow giants are aware of the player’s situation and are both monitoring the situation very closely.

A move to Scotland would be City’s worst nightmare because if they were to sell him in England they would be able to demand a significant seven figure fee. It would to challenge for silverware and to play in Europe is also something that the Scotland new boy, who made his international debut against Finland on Friday, would consider.
